Hi there, you get those symptoms if s disc is pushing on the cord it might be when you bend your neck down that it pushes on cord just depends how high up it is .
In honesty it's constant but worse if I put head down or lay on my back that is torture. It's 24/7 the giddiness is awful too
That could be that when laid on your back it is pushing out more can you not lay on your side as that helps me.
I can only lay on right side the left side makes me giddy to so I only have the right side
I need to be patient and.wait until 17th to see what Neurologist says
I will.ask him about risks of laying on my back for 2 MRIs it seems and feels like.ot is also compressing blood supply too
As I mentioned in my reply on your previous post I had cervical spasm approx 10 years before diagnosis, this included, as you'd expect, dizziness too. My GP prescribed & referred me to Physio. What does your GP make of it? Has he not offered anything for it, either med wise or physio? It can be very debilitating having constant symptoms.
I am waiting .. my GP days my symptoms suggest cord impingement but he wants me to see Neurologist this month and go from there .. I've got other illnesses that are distressing but this is by far the worst for fear and stress
Have you had surgery to relieve your symptoms is yours cervical neck related I'll re-read your other post
Thankfully no. I was to have manipulation therapy which included my neck being realigned but I chickened out. I have cervical spondylosis, diagnosed at the same time as RD & OA, lumbar spondylosis also.
What symptoms does yours give you ..have you got compression into spinal cord x
The CS? If so without pregabalin & amitriptyline I have neck stiffness, locking & horrendous headaches similar but not the same as migraines, not the ones I used to have pre menopause anyhow. Also, whilst I still have grinding it is less bothersome than without my meds but do I do still have shoulder problems which I have steroid injections for. No neuro symptoms which I had before starting meds, arm down to fingers.
