After sulphazaine causing me severe anaemia. My rheu nurse suggest next treatment either hydroxychloroquine or methotrexate and has said go away have a think and see which way you want to proceed
I have sero negative inflammatory oligoarthritis of the knee
Anyone had a similar experience ?
Or is there any literature I could read that would be useful

I don’t have what you have but I did go on to hydroxy after sulpha failed me. It’s one of the milder meds and may work for you. You can only find out by trying it 😊 Here is the link to NRAS publication on meds. I hope it helps you make a decision.
Oligoarthritis is usually à mild form of Juvenile arthritis that very often goes away by it self, I personally would try to keep away from hard RA drugs like Mtx which is a cytotoxic med with man side effects. Hydro or plaquinil is the least taxing for the body. Hope you find the tight solution for you.
