hello everyone, just a tip,i'v got psoriatic arthritis, my world is a world of pain,at the doctors complaining about my pain, said the doctor i'll try you on this, PREGABALIN 25mg 2x a day,1 week later well it's like someone flicked the switch,no were near the pain i had before,no side effects yet,apart from a bit fatigued,but let see how long it lasts,been a long time of pain hope it keeps working for me ?

hello Mmrr, i take 4x 500mg sulfersalazine and methotrexate 20mg injection been suffering for years, still have pain but not as bad,just hope it keeps working ?

I’m glad you have found pain relief that works for you sqeek but I really hope (as Mmrr says) that you aren’t just taking that and are on something else to stop you getting joint damage.

Pleased pregabalin is helping you too. I have RD not PsA but I’ve been on it a good while now, probably about 3 years. I’ve found two doses daily most helpful... 150mg with my morning meds & another 150mg with my evening meds. I slowly titred up the dose, probably over 5 or 6 months, monthly reviews with my GP helped me, I had no adverse side effects titrating the dose slowly.

hello nomoreheels yep on same amount,finally after all those years something that is working ?

oh i wish I felt that I take 300mg a day and pain still awful. One more week and methx starts and hoping this eventually kicks pain to curb.

hello Deeb2908, funny how meds effect people in different ways, works for some but not others ? finally after so many years, something that works for me, if i could take your pain away i would,hope you find the right meds for you,chin up and keep pushing though it ?
