Truxima is the Biosimilar of Rituximab....the original is Mabthera.

Hi Csavo.

I’ve had first cycle of Truxima and have noticed definite improvement. Consultant says I should get even further improvement with second cycle.

My RD is very aggressive and I’m not on MTX so hoping Truxima will get my disease under control.

I’ve not had any significant side effects so far either which is great.

Hope it works for you. 🤞🏻

Got my first cycle yesterday went well but blood pressure dropped and temperatures up and down but hopefully it settles down 🤞

I recall my blood pressure and blood sugar levels dropped during the infusion but soon settled so I could go home. The steroid and antihistamine they gave you before they start the infusion may have had some effect too. 🤞🏻

I have found Retuximab to be very good and had six cycles so far. Was on Humira previously. No side effects except a bit of flushing on my face for a couple of days after.

I think Truxima is the biosimilar for Retuximab and my hospital has changed to that. I had the first infusion of this cycle on Monday this week.

I hope it works for you.

I'm scared to hear that. I've been on Humira for 5 months and it's been a miracle.

It was so good for me for about 2 years then just stopped having the same effect
