Chesty!

Am on 15mg methotrexate. I also have COPD, last couple of weeks I've been troubled by nasal congestion, a chesty cough and dizziness. I've put this down in part to the hot weather but could these symptoms be exacerbated by RA and/or mtx?

I take MTX and have Bronchiectasis. It can be a bit worrying.

Both conditions are affected by humidity.

Both are also affected by your immune system.

The meds to suppress your skeletal problems have a knock-on effect on your lungs, leaving you open to chest infections.

Discuss it with your specialists or doctor.

Good luck.
