My electric tin opener is broken and I couldn’t manage the regular one which meant I couldn’t have baked beans with my omelette today. Serious stuff!😂

Minor frustrations aka first world problems
We always buy brands that have ring pull lids as tin openers are instruments of torture.
I have to get someone else to open cans about 50% of the year. My ring pull gadget aid hurts at times. But the electric opener is great!
Hope you can get it fixed or invest in another.
I have just bought a morphy richards Multifunction opener . BEST EVER EVER bit of gadgetry , worth every penny. Opens cans, ring pulls (i cant do them anymore) , bottles, jars and even got a cutter for bags . Genius !👌💪
Yes I’ve got one too - marvellous piece of kit! Plus a friend bought me an electric wine bottle opener for those pesky corks. Brilliant!
Going to look this one up. Thanks 😊
I don't like baked beans...just sayin'.
Blasphemy! They’re so good with an omelette or on toast or on a jacket potato with melted cheese. Yum!
Blasphemy my foot!...they are horrible squishy little things! You can keep Heinz spaghetti too, though I did like it on toast up until my mid-teens.
Wait, are we talking Heinz spaghetti hoops or the actual tinned spaghetti? I don’t mind the tinned spaghetti but the hoops are not good.
I am with you on this Wishbone, can’t bare the little orange blobs. Thank goodness I have been told not to eat beans or peas x
It is often the small things that break the straw....
An electric wine bottle opener? Now we’re talking!
My birthday is in less than 3 weeks ‘Whoooooo!!!!’ 👏🍾😎
😂😂😂
Trying to cope with everyday household items or tools can be a nightmare if you have RA. It's very frustrating, but it's also very funny......or at least it is after I've got over the major tantrum caused by not being able to open a jar anymore.
I have an electric can opener but unable to use it... I also have a can opener from Tesco's which uses batteries, it's great and fits nicely in your hand. I have a jar opener but not sure if I bought it in Lakelands when I lived in the UK. I brought them over to Canada when I came back to live here. I also love beans but they must be Heinz they are the best. You can get them in packs of 4 singles in Asda that you peak back. I can't get either over here only large cans. They may cost more but you only have to open the amount you need
Living on your own I waste a lot of food.
Good luck, take care.
