Methotrexate and menstrual cycle

Has anyone had any issues with their menstrual cycle, my period is very delayed at the moment. I am not pregnant. Cheers

Is that similar to a 2 wheel cycle or is it to do with a 3 wheeled trycicle.

Hi. I had same issue when I was on mtx

I started mtx during perimenopause. I think i was 4 months w/out a period when i took my 1st shot. Mind you the previous 3 years were the joyous (not) years of either having my period all the time, or for one day, whenever it felt like it. Since the mtx i now get my period every be 4 -6 weeks. And it's like I'm in my 20's all over again... PMS, cramps, very heavy, horrible and a good 7 days long...ick...

MTX never upset my cycle and I was on it from 16/18 and still am at 54.

Hi, my menstrual cycle was very irregular. It turned out to be the Ibroprofen not the MTX for me that was causing it but I did wonder about the MTX. Are you taking any inflammatories?

Not at the moment, the steroid injection I had in December is still helping.

No it did not effect me. What did screw things up was Pred.
