Hi. I'm new to this. I've suffered from RA for about 2 years and I am on weekly Methotrexate injections. Unfortunately I also suffer from Type 1 Diabetes, Antiphospholipid Syndrome ( An autoimmune condition which affects the blood system ), Osteoporosis, Anaemia, heart disease and COPD. More than enough for one person I think.

Hello mickam,

When you have RA, this is a good place to be. Is your RA well controlled with MTX? I hope so, because as you said, you have enough on your plate for one person. All the best.

Welcome to you mickam . Same with you I have APS along with alot of other audio immune diseases etc. We just seem to get one thing then others follow. I say do what you can while you can.I can't go hiking up mountains any more but with a struggle manage to do things still so hope you can .We don't think poor health is round the corner but you bump into it sooner than you want.Hope the methotrexate is helping you

Welcome to this lovely friendly group Mickam. I am sorry to hear how many health problems you are coping with. I also have lots of problems, 30 at the last count and also have the Antiphospholipid Syndrome plus RA, OA, PsA, Fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, curvature of the spine, gout, restless legs syndrome, asthma, migraines, eczema, sleep apnoea, underactive thyroid gland, aneamia of chronic disease, hiatus hernia, gastric reflux disease, IBS, dry eyes and mouth, completely deaf in one ear, melinium gland disease, floppy eye syndrome and possible osteoporosis which I am about to be checked out for. There are other things as well, but I don't want to bore you with any more.

The thing that really gets to me is when people say "Well you look well to me" or "Are you better now?" as it these things are curable! Sometimes life just doesn't seem to deal us a good hand with illnesses etc.
