Found this recently, I’m such a music and also audiobook person, and this song you may have heard, but it’s by someone living as the partner of someone with an autoimmune condition, and I think anyone who has RA like me, or has any associated condition can relate to the carer/partner in the song and also to the person being sung about...

It's a song about empathy and dealing with that with someone you love." The Matchbox Twenty frontman is referring to his Puerto-Rican wife Mari, who suffers from a rare autoimmune disease.
