Question

I had a nuclear stress test today. Forgot to ask rheumy if I can take my methotrexate tonight. Pharmacist thinks it’s ok but wasn’t that positive. Any of you faced this?

Sorry I don't know what a nuclear stress test is. Probably known by another name in the uk.

Sorry I don’t know what it is either but I’d ring your rheumy nurses and ask them.

MTX isn't listed as meds to avoid before a nuclear stress scan, nothing after. No caffeine though as it can affect the meds you're given as part of the test but you'll have been told that as it's prior to the scan. The person you need to ask is your Rheumy though just to be sure.
