You can buy little sort of snow chains for your shoes. I wear them when it's icy here x

I used to love the snow, nothing like it, but it is a big problem for me now. From defrosting the car to getting out, all impossible tasks. Funny how life changes. But still no snow in Edinburgh !

Yes it is funny it nice on a Christmas card but gets dangerous here as we in county side and no gritter bother round ere

Oh dear I both love the beauty of it, and hate the treachery at the same time.

Please take care on your journey this morning. A pair of old socks over your shoes would give a bit of grip in an emergency. We don't have snow but everything looks very icy and the grass has gone white with frost.

Great idea with the socks that's a new one on me.

All my children have been scouts and they are full of good ideas. I had to find my own way of removing dead slugs from the washing machine after the kids had been caving. They go all little and rubbery you know

Yes it’s dangerous here in Oban as we’ve had snow and now ice on top, steady as we go xxx

Wish I'd read this before I went to get some wood for the fire and slipped and fell on the ice on the patio. Badly bruised and shaken but nothing broken thank goodness.

Hey ho, onwards and upwards
