MTX & humira when on ABx

Hi..!

I’m on ABx (amoxicillin) and can’t remember if I should omit my MTX and/or humira...? 🤦🏻‍♀️Can anyone advise...?

Check with your rheumatologist but f you have an infection, that alone is the reason to stop the Methotrexate and Humira until the infection is cleared. Your immune system will thank you for stopping them and letting the system do its job! The immunosuppression canlast for weeks after topping though.

My dr said anytime I am prescribed an antibiotic, I need to stop the biologic until the infection has cleared.
