I did this in 2010 to raise funds for the NRAS. ( note the NRAS logo on my t shirt😉). I had so much help and support from them and all the guys and girls on this great site here after I was first diagnosed when I was in a really bad place, I decided to put something back. So got sponsored to do it and raised just short of £2000 for them. This was taken just before we were pushed onto the run.

It was the full length run. 130 kph at top speed and you get a 5G badge when you do it as that’s the G force you pull on the corners. See next photo.

I wasn’t driving. There was a professional driver, he hadn’t got in yet. If I drove we would have been in orbit on the first corner😂

I have always had this ‘need for speed’ since I was a kid. Trouble is it’s never left me. Much to the (sometimes) horror of my grown up kids😂
