Looks like I’ve finally found my tribe so thought like others have I’d introduce myself. I’m a single mum of an 18 year old, 45 from Rotherham.

Life has changed drastically for me over the past 3 years. I feel like I’ve lost the fun, motivated energetic ambitious person I was. But I’ve become more empathetic, patient and very very tired lol

I look forward to getting to know many of you on here ❤️

Bev! Look at you lassie! 45! You look fantastic! Your words are just what I feel too! Also been 3 years and yes, this disease changes us in some ways. I am shattered most of the time which is the total opposite of how I was. I have to be honest, always had a kind heart and empathy ( sometimes known as a doormat) lol. Could never say NO to people asking me to do this, that and the next thing but I have had to learn to say it as I would be collapsing on my feet nowadays! Lovely to meet you. Keep on smiling as much as possible! Xxx

Or what I call a people pleaser! When you get sick that all changes as you have no choice but to put yourself first and learn to say no.
