Hi I 51 years old and suffer with a few health conditions which have had a big impact on my day to day life. My biggest problems are chronic psoriasis, back pain and neck pain, gastritis, and mobility problems which are result of a medical negligence treatment in 2008. Until then I was physically well but always had depression and anxiety. I live in uk with my husband and pets.

Hi, Iβm sorry to hear the steroids caused you many health problems. I am so glad I found this group everyone is so friendly itβs great. I am so sorry you have so many health issues and sincerely hope that PSA isn't going to be one of them. Your picture is beautiful and Skye looks gorgeous. As you can see from my profile I am owned by a lovely shih tzu. Wishing you well

Thank you.
Hello and welcome. Thank you for introducing your little dog too. Is she a Westie. My friend used to have a Westie - she was such a character. : )
Hi and glad you posted. People on here are lovely as you say.
I love your dog!
Isn't it strange once you get one auto immune disease they all seem to come along afterwards, like buses!!
Have great day x
Hello Wombat, from me and my min pIn Roxi. I've had Psoriasis and PSA and developed drug induced Lupus, RA, and Sjorgrens two yrs ago. I was only on methotrexate until I had surgery from a fall damaging my neck. We added Humira a few months after surgery and I became housebound, with infections and extensive psoriasis . We stopped all the meds for a while then added back the methotrexate and I am mostly clear and walking better with more stamina. Thereis hope this will get better for you. I am 47 and trying my best to cope with all this too. Welcome again sweetie πΈ Julie
Welcome!
I have been here for 2 months and have received endless support and advice! I am glad you are here with us, even though I wish you didn't have the autoimmune disease that causes you to be here!
I am 42 and I live in the U.S. I have RA and fibromyalgia. RA came when I was 12 and fibromyalgia at 35. I am sero-positive and currently taking Sulfasalazine and methotrexate. I see the rheumatologist again this week to figure out why I am having pain and weakness in my lower back and legs!
Welcome Wombat1966. I love your little dog <3
Welcome!
