remicade and heart and artery problems
Poor you, must be worrying for you and your family. I do hope your problems stabilise.
I know nothimg about remicade, but I do know that cadiovascular problems are a big issue with us having RA. It is one of the major comorbidities of the disease, and particularly atherosclerosis or plaque build up which is what causes strokes. We should all be paying attention to cardiovascular health and having an annual discussion with our GPs.
Very worrying for you, a couple off months ago I had a blood clot in my groin and since then my right leg refuses to play ball and it's certainly weakened it, I go to body conditioning 2 a week and half to wear a support on my calf because I keep pulling it and now my right knee keeps giving way, this Disease is 1 step forward and 2 back if it's not the RA that holds you back it's the complications, sorry rambling on I hope you get things sorted xxx
I'm so sorry you have had such a rotten time. I don't really know the answer to your question, although it's possible I suppose. Also likely, as others have said, that it's part of RA. I have PsA and that can also cause heart problems amongst other delights. The gift that keeps on giving eh.
Look after yourself. Have you been given advice on a heart healthy diet etc?
