My daughter is about to start babysitting and the the boys she will look after are due to have their flu vaccines at school. I have been on Benepali for a year and therefore classed as “ immunosuppressed”. I had my flu jab 3 weeks ago. Will this pose a problem?

Children’s flu vaccine and contact as immunosuppressed
My grandson has just had his first you vaccination, which is a nasal spray as he's almost 3 and I'm fine I would think it's just the same as the adult one.
This is the advice from NRAS. The nasal spray is not the same as the adult vaccine as it is live.
I’m a teacher and on biologics and I’ve been in contact with the children in my class the same day as they have the nasal vaccine and I’ve been fine. You’ve already had your flu vaccination so you’re already protected. 🙂
Hi Deniseelk
I don't see what problem there could possibly be other than your daughter picking up different cold virus' from the kids and in turn giving them to you but then you could pick up these from anywhere.
You are covered with the flu as you have had your jab.
We are immunosurpressed but we do still have an immune system.
Hope your daughter enjoys the babysitting!
