I had eyelid surgery this week. Dr said I would see better as my kids were droopy. Not sure this is ra related but the surgery went well, other than my 50 shades of purple on my eyes now. I feel like the stitches are dissolving finally because that was a very weird feeling.
Had a long talk with anesthesiologist and dr about my neck surgery and the very little movement I have in my neck and they assured me they’d be careful.
Ever since the surgery tho I’ve had awful nerve reactions going from my neck down my arms and spine. The only way I can describe it is if you had a skipping rope and you shook it along the ground like a wave. That’s how it feels. Quite uncomfortable and makes me feel weak while it’s happening. Does anyone else know what I mean? I’m quite certain that they did something weird to me during that surgery and I don’t like it one bit.

Did they put you in a neck collar during surgery? Depending on your neck problems they should have done.
I have hernated discs and erosions in my neck and have had similar sensations. Lucklily a course of physio and daily exercises are keepimg it in check now.
I would flag this up to GP as well as surgeon. Sounds like could be an idea to ask for a scan to see what might have happened, and see what treatment might help.
Oh how brave. Apart from the spectacular bruising, do your eyelids feel/look better? I reckon HH is right and a scan would give a useful picture of what's going on. Hugs
