Cosentyx and Rash

I have been on Cosentyx for about a month and I have had a back rash from it for about the same amount of time with hives on my leg where I did the injection.

I know this is listed as an adverse reaction, but I am afraid to tell my doc because I have been on so many RA medications that I'm literally afraid if I go off this one I am not going to have any options and this one seems to be taking the edge off the pain.

Also I was just diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis as well.

Has anyone else experienced any side effects like this from Cosentyx and should I be worried?

Hi there. Try taking an antihistamine it usually helps. I am on it everyday now otherwise I feel itchy all over. Hope that helps.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I'm taking a Benadryl every day. Helps itching, but the rash remains! Thanks again!

You could try loratadine. I was on cetirizine and it didn't help but the loratadine does .
