I'm suffering this week with a sore wrist, it feels very weak and causes pain when any load is applied to it such as pushing up on my hands, lifting pans etc. The pain extends around my thumb and up to my elbow.
Does this sound like it is related to my RA (as not had this before)? How can it be distinguished between RA or a RSI / Carpal Tunnel issue?
Any recommendations for a suitable support to wear?

It will be interesting to see results as I have this in my right wrist really bad I went to physio and she gave me these black lacy fingerless things no support what so ever and some that were flesh coloured like to protect so I'm still struggling along like you do,???
I also had pain in right hand, wrist etc...up to my elbow. Couldn't lift a pen, let alone a pan. Had to change deoderant to roll-on as there wasn't a hope in hell of depressing a button. My friend bought me some compression fingerless gloves from Dr Arthritis and they are really helpful. Thankfully, after yet another meds change, it's almost cleared up - wrist is slightly swollen and shoulder feels permanently bruised, but it's mangeable.
