Picture of one of two Lily's in my garden. Sadly the other Lily's have dropped already. But love the scent of these drifting through the house. πŸ’œ

If you do cut them for the house it's a good idea to remove the pollen-bearing stamens. The pollen not only stains but it is also toxic to cats.

If the Lily's are still there in the morning, i'll remove the pollen then. πŸ‘

Lovely. My favourite flower, especially Stargazer which I have blooming in my garden at the mo. I have one the colour of yours too, emphasis on the one, only one flower, odd. If you have cats though do cut the stamens out, all parts of lilies are poisonous to them but most commonly if they brush against them & then try to clean their fur it's the most common way of them being poisoned.

I planted two bulbs, the other one has lost all it's flowers, which only had three. As the other 'pictured', is still going.

I never have Lily's in the house, makes me sneeze far too much. πŸ˜„
