With my psoriatic arthritis, I get psoriasis on the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet. Usually it’s just a relatively minor problem, but over the last week, it’s flared up really badly for no apparent reason, and is really red and sore, with lots of broken skin.
I’ve just started a week long course of Clobavate (which I got from the dermatologist last year during a previous flare), and I apply it nightly. I follow that with Hydromol emollient, which is incredibly greasy, so not practical to use during the day - has anyone got any tips for something to use during the day to calm things down?
I have my 6 month appointment with the rheumy nurse in a week, but even in the unlikely event that she could give me something for my skin, don’t think I can wait that long for something to treat this. Help!! 😫
