RA and MS

I was diagnosed with RA in 2012. Then last week I finally got a diagnosis after over 2 years of specialists and tests. I have MS as well. And I also found out I have mild sleep apnea. Do any of you have MS or sleep apnea along with your RA?

Haven't got MS but definitely got sleep apnea and RA, have had it since 2015

I have psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia and sleep apnea (and sleep paralysis too)

How was the MS diagnosed? What symptoms did you have that made them suspect MS - sorry for being nosey!

I had an abnormal brain MRI in March 2016. I saw 3 specialists and had alot of testing but the tests were normal , for the most part, and one would say it looks like MS and some would say no it doesn't so after my 2nd brain MRI my neurologist said it looked like MS to him but he wasn't the MS specialist so he sent me to the MS specialist and he knows his stuff! and in maybe 20 minutes he knew I had MS. He had asked some questions and then looked at my MRI from October 2017. And he said these are MS lesions. He knew! He said I had alot of lesions on my brain for someone my age.

Hi Zeke, like suedunn01, I'm also curious as to what symptoms you were presenting with. Don't have MS that I know of, I do have balance issues quite often though. Bad enough having RA isn't it?!!

Yes it is!! And I have some other health issues too.Within the next 2 years(actually over 2 years), I have muscle weakness, double vision, extreme fatigue, heat intolerance, shortness of breath with exertion, among other things.
