another problem

Well after the doctor was a bust went back to my GP and we decided to try a new route. Well had new xrays and forwarded on to the muscle and nerve clinic (they were great) except when they asked me how long my carpal tunnel had been boarded line severe in one hand and moderate in the other. I didn't even know I had it so now I have another item to go along with the lupus, ra, anemia, nodules and all the rest... When does it just stop for a day???? I know it could be worse i really do but really?

Carpel tunnel is very common in people with RA, so you could consider it part and parcel of the same thing?

Has your foot healed yet? As you should ask your doctor to check that the foot module is not a morton's neuroma which can be removed.

thanks for the reply sorry it took me so long haven't been feeling the best but i did mention the morton's neuroma to the doc he is considering, also the foot is pretty much healed its just curved so bad toward the 2nd toe bone they are worried it could break it.....

My foot was straightened last October. Easy and painless. I've had Mortons removed twice and lots of injections as well so while strightening my foot and they broke all the toes too they released the tendons and all pain has gone. Best thing I've ever had done. The degree of twist has to be over 27 per cent they they do do it. Honesty I wear heeled shoes and scars are down the side of my foot, and toes. I also take blood medication which meant a stay in hospital to stabalise but the risk was so worth it.

Try looking at it from another angle. I also have several conditions, and am just so grateful for all the help extended to me. I'm not solved yet, but it isn't for want of them trying...

I so agree Hobblehhoy I have a list too, Celioc. Pernicous Aememia, Cylindrical Bronchectastais, Hashimoto's (posh name for thyroid failure) and of course the RA. I've had DVT's and Pulmory Embolisms too known to be down the the RA. So I'm very grateful as all treatable and controlled so life is normal. The NHS is too be praised that it looks after most of us so very well. I dread to think how much I cost the NHS in medications as the blood one is £9 a day, but I'm worth it. lol xx

Wow, you girls have been through a lot, bless you - I'm very glad you're all here to tell the tale! Love & best wishes. My RA seems to be controlled at present - am struggling badly now with what, despite us hoping for rheumatoid hip, does seem to be SEVERE sciatia..! Which is so difficult to treat... Hey ho! However, although I'm (I hope temporarily..) on a walker, am finding it an absolute boon - not least for carrying a surprising amount of shopping! xxx
