Think I'd rather not know and just wait for next brown envelope. Funny how brown envelopes make your heart race 🤔

If we've applied for allowance perhaps they think the sight of a brown envelope will give us a heart attack and keel over then they won't have to pay us.😂

It's so stressful that tune they play as well when you ring and the brown envelope ive had mine for a while and it was all good but I can still remember !!!!!

Well Pulfs, it's one step further. I thought I may be able to give you a better approximation of how much longer you might have to wait until you'll find out but I omitted to note the date I received my acknowledgement of receipt letter. What I can tell you is that it's dated 24th April & I received my review award confirmation on 5th May. Backdated payment was in the bank the previous day. Whatever, fingers crossed it's good news.

Just for info if you decide to ask for a copy of the report I asked for mine about a week after I got the acknowledgment letter & I've still not received it!

Good to hear that your reassessment seems to have gone ok.

It was a good result Wishy, enhanced on both till 2024 I posted about it last Saturday.

How's the finger?

I missed that post. Well done!...no more assessments for the next 5 - 6 years is a nice bonus.

Finger has improved thanks, but I need to wear a splint much of the time or it starts locking again.

Should hear from my rheumy soon about starting baricitinib. Still in two minds due to infection risk, but think I'll give it a go and hope for the best.

Thanks. I was already on enhanced daily but mobility was a bonus because I'd only hoped for standard having been a couple of points short last time & my feet don't take me as far as they used to! Whereas I'd no medical evidence before I had plenty this time.

I'm pleased your finger has improved but if it gets any worse do tell your Rheumy. Mine was pretty bad & it's not returned to how it was since the steroid injection.

I hope baricitinib suits you, especially infection wise, or lack of them. Being one of the JAK's it promises to be effective but being relatively new I don't know about comparisons with biologics but you've the right attitude, I think you can only give it a go.
