NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 23rd April 2018
Southend-on-Sea NRAS Group
Meetings take place every other month in the Meeting Room at the Salvation Army Citadel (opposite Morrisons), 146-148 London Road, Hadleigh, Essex, SS7 2PF.
Wednesday 25th April 2pm - 3:30pm - 'An update from NRAS and discussion on the future of the Group'
Tayside (Dundee) NRAS Group
The Tayside NRAS group are holding meetings once every other month in the Gannochy Lecture Theatre at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee DD2 1UB from 6:30-8:00pm.
Wednesday 25th April in the Wolfson Lecture Theatre at Ninewells Hospital (next door to the Gannochy Lecture Theatre) - Guest Speaker: Dr Jamie Welch, Specialist Consultant Ophthalmology will present: 'How Rheumatoid Arthritis can affect your eyes and how to manage your eye problems effectively'. Everyone welcome.
Isle of Wight NRAS Group
Meetings are held at Laidlaw Day Hospital, St Mary's Hospital Campus, Dodnor Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 5TG on a Thursday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm unless otherwise stated.
Thursday 26th April - We are having a group discussion on explaining our arthritis and how it makes us feel to family members and friends. If anyone has a family member or friend that they find it hard to discuss this with then please invite them along to the meeting.
Greater Glasgow & Clyde NRAS Group
The NRAS Greater Glasgow and Clyde rheumatoid and inflammatory arthritis group meet regularly throughout the year. Please see below for upcoming meeting dates and times.
Thursday 26th April 7:00pm-8:30pm at Tesco Extra, Cobden Rd, St Rollox Business Park, Glasgow, G21 1YL. Guest speaker - Prof. Jim Brewer, will present: 'The immune system: looking for love in all the right places'. Professor James Brewer is the current Chair in Basic Immunology at Glasgow University. He is coming along to share some of his extensive research he has undertaken on cells and lymphocytes in our bodies.
You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
