Feeling frustrated

Started to break out in painful and itchy hives almost 7 weeks ago , I've been to the emerge and urgency dermatologist to try and figure out what's going on with my body I've never had any skin problems before and now my body super sensitive to anything my ears are swollen and burning and my hands are always inflamed it's seems everyone I rub or scratch a part of my skin it out breaks into hives in the joints but my ears are painful and swollen , just finished prenazone that the dermatologist prescribed to me witch made me blow up and gain 26 pounds in 7 days my throat swelled up , my nose inside aswell , it's very scary , biopsy done and got my results back yesterday and the dermatologist is telling me is eczema???? I'm going to see a rheumatologist on the 29th but please anybody can you help me with some advice please ???? I couldn't even get out of bed yesturday because of the pain in my joints !

Eczema can be truly awful, and not just a bit of scabby skin. What is the dermolologist proposing to help treat it?

And as for the joints, have you talked to your GP about some temporary pain relief?

Hi Michele 3 years before I was diagnosed with RA I started getting the same symptoms you have. When on holiday after a few days in the sun I woke up one day with both my eyes swollen and covered in rash over my chest and back. I thought it was a heat rash but it started happening when I was home.(not much sun here in Scotland) In the mornings my joints are sore and stiff it takes about 2 hours for the stiffness to ease. I now realise it was the start of this horrible disease. I found out lying in a hot bath eases the stiffness in my joints. Hopefully when you see the Rheumatologist he'll get to the root of your problems. I know what you are going through Michele and I hope you get sorted out. All the best

I'm so frustrated I've had a huge flare up again last night my right dude of my face and hands are swollen but my whole body broke out In pain itchy hives , I went to see the Rheumatologist yesturday for the first time and she is sending me for more blood texts, I went to see the dermatologist about a month ago and he gave me all these steroid creams and lotions to take and nothing seems to be working , he did a biopsy about 3 weeks ago and he says the results say women's but when I wNt to see the rheumatologist yesturday she said it wasn't that , so that's why she sending me for more blood work she not even sure what's going on , she had put me back on prenazone 😬 To try and control these outbreaks , is any one gone through this I can't touch anything my hands are so painful abs my body hurts? Anyone with advice cause I'm about to loose my mind please!!!
