NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 12th March 2018
Great Yarmouth NRAS Group
The Great Yarmouth & Waveney NRAS Group meet in the ‘Buzz Room’ of the Louise Hamilton Centre, James Paget Hospital, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, NR31 6LA from 5:30pm-7:00pm on the second Tuesday of each month.
13th March - Guest speaker: Yvette Price, Pharmacist
Mid Cornwall NRAS Group
The Mid Cornwall NRAS group - PIRATES (people involved in RA training, education and support) meet at Carnon Downs Village Hall, Tregye Road, Truro TR3 6GH every other month on a Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:30pm
14th March - 'What do you think?' Tim Jenkinson, new face at Royal Cornwall Hospital (though not new to Rheumatology); Tim will host a Q & A session. He is interested in feedback from YOU!
Mid Somerset NRAS Group
Meetings are held at the Taunton Rugby Club, Hyde Lane, Bathpool, Taunton TA2 8BU.
13th March 7pm - Guest speaker: Dr Lucie Wilk, Consultant Rheumatologist will present: 'Holistic approach to treatments for Rheumatoid Arthritis'
Oxford NRAS Group
Meetings are held in the lecture theatre at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Windmill Road, Oxford OX3 7LD on Tuesdays every other month from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
13th March – Jo MacDonald, Project Manager & Senior Research Nurse, will present: 'RA Research – a Catch up'
Isle of Wight NRAS Group
Coffee Morning on: Wednesday 14th March, 11am at the Olive Tree Restaurant, Busy Bee Garden Centre, Brading Road, Ryde, PO33 1QG
Weston-super-Mare NRAS Group
Meetings are held in Conference Room 3 at The Campus, Highlands Lane, Weston-super-Mare, BS24 7DX monthly on a Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
March 14th - Guest speaker: Tony Dove will be talking to the group on 'Chinese Approaches to Healing'
Worcester NRAS Group
Bi-monthly meetings take place on Wednesdays between 6.45pm to 8.30pm at the Lyppard Hub in Ankerage Green, Warndon Villages, Worcester WR4 0DZ.
14th March - Professor Christopher Buckley Director of the Birmingham NIHR Wellcome Trust, Clinical Research Facility, Director of Clinical Research, Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, will present: 'Why research is good for RA patients'
Blackpool NRAS Group
Blackpool and District NRAS Group (BADRAG) meet in the cafeteria at Clifton Hospital, Pershore Road, Lytham St. Annes, FY8 1PB from 7:00pm – 8:30pm.
15th March - Guest speaker: Janice Booth, Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner will be talking to the Group about Medicines in RA
North East NRAS Group
The North East Group run quarterly educational meetings which are held in Function Room 137, Education Centre, Level 1, Freeman Hospital, High Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE7 7DN from 5.30pm-8.00pm.
15th March - You are invited to a talk by David Sharp, Managing Director of Independence Bathrooms Ltd on - 'Prepare for the future, be safe in the bathroom'
North Lincolnshire (Grimsby) NRAS Group
This group will hold their meetings in the large meeting room at Cromwell Road Fire Station, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN31 2BN (plenty of free parking) once every other month on a Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm.
15th March - Guest speaker: Susi Gaikwad, Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Rheumatology
Stoke-on-Trent NRAS Group
The Stoke-on-Trent NRAS Group are holding all future meetings in the outpatients waiting area at the Haywood Hospital, High Lane, Burslem, ST6 7AG on the third Thursday of every other month from 7:00-8:30pm.

Yeovil NRAS Group
This year all coffee meets will be held at Palmers Garden Centre Coffee Shop, Bernards Way, Bunford Lane, Yeovil, BA20 2FH from 10:30am-12:00pm. Next coffee morning: Thursday 15th March
