What a week

Just a quick update from my last post . Im having an horrendous week yet again . The pain is unbearable in my hands and chest . Should have had my chest MRI last week but cancelled till the 12 . Started sulfasalazine and been taken off it after 6 days . On the plus side I've qualified for biologics so fingers crossed from the 19th I should hopefully see a light at the end of this dark tunnnel . Also wanted to say a really big thankyou for all your advice and what you have been through this really helps ...... Thankyou 🌹

Hi Jayne,I don't know your history because I've only been on this forum awhile.

Pity you were taken off Sulfasalazine I've been on it for over 15yrs,and it's really done the trick for me. I wish you well,take care.

Hi I was on suph for about a year with little effect the pain was incredible! I qualified for biologics I went on tocillizumab and after 3 weeks the difference was amazing I have been on it now for about 1 year and I feel 100% better almost like I don’t have RA anymore, hope you get the same benefit from biologics that I have

Wow that's amazing I hope it works for me like that . RA is an horrendous thing to have and people can't understand how much pain you are in unless they have it . Do you take MTX with it or just that ?

Had a call off my ra nurse my meds are working 9wks on benapali and was ready to throw towel been bloody hard work an painful but my bloods are goin bk to normal I'm still on a course of steroids but looks like I'm on my way on the right stuff feel like a mixologist at time getting all my meds together but things are looking good !!!!!🍸
