Been to see my GP. Gave me capsaicin cream to apply 4 times a day. He thought of steroid injection but decided against it because of all medication I’m on. If no improvement in a few days to go back and see him. Time will tell!!!

So, how useful is the capsaicin cream? I'm assuming it warms up the affected area giving some relief. I sincerely hope it helps

So far I’ve had no benefit from it. I’ve used it before for osteoarthritis in my foot and it worked really well for that but I remember reading on arthritis research uk website it wasn’t effective for rheumatoid. Probably that’s why I’m not finding any relief with cream this time.
