I went to Vancouver yesterday to see my GP. It is a three hour round trip. When you include wait time and seeing the doctor 👨‍⚕️ only , I did not see my doctor I got a resident, again. I was all prepared for a showdown that never was lol . It is all so exhausting. It seems I need to be in total crisis before they notice. Oh well, time to take a break. I am going to plan a holiday rather than focus on illnesses. A change of environment might just be the best medicine. Any recommendations for destination?

I know the feeling!! I’m off to Thailand in 3 weeks as I’m so sick and tired of being sick and tired... I think anywhere with sunshine and a picturesque scenery is the best cure. Bali was one of my favourite places. Hope things work out a bit better for you soon

My daughter just told me she is going to Spain this fall. It is part of her studies at SFU. I am so proud of her 🎺🌉🎎

That's a great idea take a break .I'm sure that haveing to travel quite far to see the doctor " then haveing his understudy see you it's it feels like no one cares .but it's happened to me quite a few time'sas well .when you say that you travel to vancouver .you must live outside of BC. It's only because I lived in vancouver and also work there at the Hudson bay in the hairsalon for many many year's played lots of tennis in Stanley park and lived on beach Ave . In fact that's when I became ill with R.A and return to the UK. Now many year's later after haveing lot's of surgery and with the right medication and pain medication I'm doing OK still have lots of painful day's. But I'm very positive about life .take that break it will be good for you .and hopefully you'll be able to enjoy it keep moveing forward. God bless all .go to Las Vegas get some sun and blue sky. And it's not to far for you to travel from B.C.

I live in Maple Ridge. We are thinking of going to Spain, Barcelona in particular. My daughter will be there so we can pop in on her and help her get through four months. We like Europe and can stop and visit my sister before going so it breaks it up.

We've just got back from St Lucia and it was wonderful. Warm temperatures rather than red hot and the humidity not too bad. There are a few very good deals out there for Caribbean Islands at the moment thanks to the hurricane damage putting people off. I suppose some good had to come out of such a horrible natural disaster.
