I have been on imuran 50mg for approx 3 weeks now. I was taken off of methotrexate as it had stopped working for me. I am very concerned as every time my meds stop working I usually have extreme fatigue pain and shortness of breath. This time I have not got the quick relief I usually have in the past. And the fatigue and shortness of breath are dragging me down. I get short of breath when I exert myself but if I sit down for maybe 5 minutes my breathing returns to normal. Just wondering if any of you have ever had this problem? I have sent message to my RA doctor. Any help would be appreciated.
Hugs to you all and I pray you are all safe and sound. Ohh and I have no fever and I’m not sick.
Peggy.

I get very mild shortness of breath when fatigued or sometimes when not feeling too well. Sometimes my chest feels a little tight too. It usually passes quickly on resting.
It might be worth mentioning to your rheumatologist.
Yes that sounds like what I experience as well. My rheumatologist is aware I have this problem. I gave sent him a message. He usually gets right back to me. So hopefully today. Thanks for replying.hugs
Hello precious123, I'm so sorry to hear about how you are feeling and send some supportive wishes to you. Glad to hear you have contacted your rhumy as they may be the best people to advice if it is related to the meds you are taking. All I can say is break down activities or tasks you need to do into smaller bursts and pace yourself. Allowing yourself to rest in between. It is very frustrating when something we would have done in no time in the past with the energy we had, now becomes a big challenge and we are exhausted from it. So small steps and rest in between and make sure you get a reply from your rhumy. Take care, keep safe and well.
