I have 4 pea sized but extremely sore nodules on my elbow. I seem to be catching my elbow on absolutely everything and causing me discomfort at night. Is there anything I can use to stop the pain. I don't see the consultant for another few months and it's driving my bonkers

Hi Ouchyjenna, are you on MTX? A few of these appeared on my right foot when I was on MTX but they weren’t painful. They disappeared when I stopped MTX. Are you able to contact your specialist Rheumatology nurse?
Misty
Hello,
I have had troublesome nodules on my elbows and hands removed surgically in the past and they did not recur. These nodules can be very painful so I suggest you contact your rheumatology nurse or consult your GP.
Best wishes Pam
i have 1 on each elbow lots on my fingers, small lumps under my skin on fingers, showed them to my Rheumatologist and she looked but did not seem bothered. Perhaps cos i am 73 i don't know but mine are painful. See what happens when you visit Rheumy.
Sorry to hear you're in pain. I would phone your rheumatology nurse advice line (assuming your dept has one), they should have some suggestions. Hope you can get some help sooner rather than later xx
