I think you've said you are a bit overweight, and have had children? So it may be nothing to do with RA but due to other things. Being overweight puts pressure on you heart & lungs, so can give you wheezy moments. And having children can lead to what's called stress incontinence. Best thing is to go and see your GP to discuss it and so he/she can rule out any serious causes.

Probably the most important thing to do for stress incontinence is pelvic floor exercises. I still do mine every day, often several times a day. I found being on higher doses of prednisolone made it much more difficult to hold on when I need to go, I think because of the effect it has on bladder muscle.

But if you are having wheezing and coughing, worth finding out why and if it is a side effect of any medication.

It seems that you have stress incontinence due to the coughing and the wheezing could be asthma. Or perhaps you have a post viral cough that is taking a long time to clear up. If you are very worried try and see your GP before Christmas just in case you need an inhaler or antibiotics.

Take care xx.
