Depends on what blood tests you are talking about.
It usually means that they need repeating! The report says that it's not clear from the blood results whether they indicate disease or not, so they need doing again to give a definite result. They can help though if taken together with the clinical picture.
Surely your rheumatologist , either the consultant or the nurse can explain? We cannot comment without all information for this. Sorry but the professionals should have the answers. Borderline probably means very mild inflammatory changes at the moment.
