I managed to thread some fairy lights through the garland on fire place and put the tree up- I put it up and managed to put the lights on but the decorating it will need to be tomorrow!

Not managing well with this cold, at all. Already fretting about heading into work tomorrow Brrrrrrrr!!

Dang you Sylvi....It was you posting all your lovely Christmas photos that forced me to get off "me arse" and decorate. ... This has been a very hard year for me and I want to thank you for posting all your lovely Christmas photos. You got me out of a "bah humbug" mood.

Im getting a few decs up each day. Started earlier than usual as new it would be a longer job this year. Just tree to go now. Love looking and hearing about everyones Cmas decs and preparations. I love Cmas, dont really remember last years as was newly diagnised and just got downstairs for couple of hours....didnt really care much then, but not this year. No remission yet, but as daughter is picking up (even tho im at hers miost of the time now husband back at work), all is well with the world and its CHRISTMAS...harrahhhhh

Yes, this Christmas must hold a lot of joy for you & your family. It's your grandbaby's 1st Christmas!!! Just take your time putting up the Christmas decorations Ruth. No need to put everything up & exhaust yourself.

As I think you would rather exhaust yourself cuddling your new grandbaby!!!
