Idiopathic Granulomatous Mastitis

Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with idiopathic granulomatous mastitis after going through a round of antibiotics and a surgery as it’s was wrongly diagnosed as a breast abscess. I used to breastfeed my baby for more than 20months but stops 1 year plus ago.

I was told this is a very rare inflammation and I’m currently on 5mg Prednisolone. Anyone suffering from the same problem as me and how long and the dosage of steroids taken? Any side effects and how long does the side effects surfaces? I’m on 3rd days and I’m having insomnia, bad dreams when I do fall asleep. I do notice my joints are in a little pain these 2 days too. Are these the side effects?
