Hi loppyloo

Afraid to say I find flares more likely as cold damp weather descends. Much better in warm and sun. Hope all goes well on 20th

I felt myself getting kind if creaky as soon as autumn arrived and a chill came 8nti the air, now I’d say I was having/ just had a bit of a flare up - my elbows have started to ache, particularly my left elbow.

We haven’t really had any summer heat this year and I think a hot holiday sets me up for the winter. Good luck on the 20th.

Hi loppyloo. I've always preferred the warm and sunny parts of the year even pre-RA. Even a sunny day in winter will lift my spirits. No flares as yet, thank goodness, But my feet are becoming more of a problem too and will be seeing the lovely podiatrist again next week as walking is becoming more difficult. I hope you get some answers and more help on 20th. We should get holidays on the NHS! Yeah. Right

J

If I get really really cold I’ve been know to use those wrap things that you get for back pain. Unwrap one of them and put it on, the warmth lasts all day or in your case all night. You just have to be careful not to lean on anything for too long because it will get hot really good way to stay nice and warm.
