Well after my post about the pain I was having under my rib, you all quite rightly told me.to seek some medical advise. I was very stupid and just hoped it would go away as I thought it was the same as before. I currently been admitted into hospital for a bloomin suspected blood clot. I'm feeling sorry for myself. I woke up this morning with severe chest pain which actually eased a bit as the day has gone on but thought I better get checked out at the go just in case.... 6 hrs later and I wasn't expecting this

Poor you - easy to assume when you have so many episodes of pain in various parts that any new pain is 'same old, same old....' and miss a symptom which would have 'normal' people heading straight to A and E or at least the GP.

Perhaps that's one of the things that we should be warned about. Anyway, you're getting the right care now, so hope you're better soon.

Poor you. You are in the right and safe place now. Sometimes it is easy to put everything down to RD as it is such a vicious and painful disease. Timely warning for us all.

Blood clot is all sorted I just need a blood transfusion as I am severely anaemic and I was really dyhydated which is what they think has caused the clot.

Good to hear the blood clot is all sorted and you are having your anaemia corrected. Gosh there are so many challenges with RA but we rise to them every time !

Hi ouchyjenna. Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing? It's so easy to put our aches and pains down this nasty disease and just hope it 'goes away'. Please don't beat yourself up over this. Our disease does all that for us. I hope you get better very soon and can get back home sooner. Huge gentle hugs
