cataracts

I have just been to the hospital because of blurry vision in one eye. The doctor said it was probably a cataract. I'm using benapali once a week. Has anyone here had the same? I'm wondering if it's age related or related to benapali which I've been using about 6 months.

I'm 60 and I had cataract surgery last April. I went from no cataract to needing surgery in a year. I did ask the consultant if my drugs had played apart in it. I'm on mtx and enbrel which is the same as benpali. He said they hadn't contributed to it, it was age related and also having oral steroids in the past had played apart in it. I didnt take a lot of steroids at all, I was only taking 10mg a day and that was for two periods of time in 2012.

Nothing to fear at all about having the op done, I can honestly say it was a doddle, totally painless. x
