Hi all. I read many of the comments re: RA and the help/tips given taking MTX and Folic Acid and found many of the comments insightful and useful in dealing with the side effects of these medications. Believe me when I begin taking my meds I will be using all the tips that apply to me.

Fra22-57....Thanks for your comments. You must be a mind reader because you answered my next question re: the side effects. The thing I have to keep in front of me is that we are all individuals and the meds effects us all differently. Again Thx.

Hi Bottomrail - all I would say at this point is to be patient (yes, I know you are one already 😉) as it all takes time and keep talking to whoever is there to listen. For most of us it's a bit of a rollercoaster so hold on tight and scream if you want to. 😁

Moomin8....I plan to be patient. In your next comment I wish you would expand on the "rollercoaster" aspect of it all?

Hi Bottomrail, it's always a bit painful to say "Welcome to the club", but you'll find a lot of lovely people on here. Patience and pacing yourself is vital with this condition. I'd advise you to browse the NRAS website for good practical information or if you can't find an answer there, phone their help desk. They are very understanding and knowledgeable. Keep in touch. All the very best.
