WAITING!!!

Hi everyone hope you are doing ok and not in too much pain. I have been having a flare for about 3 months now. I cam off MTX because of side effects and because I was having surgery to replace part of my wrist which incidentally has gone very well. I did try going back onto MTX at a lower dose but then had 6 days of being very sick. I have now failed on HQC and MTX so Rheumy is apply for funding for biological. How long does it usually take to get an answer.

I am sorry to hear about your flare it is horrible isn't it. Every day at some point my pain escalates and it is just unbearable. My key coping mechanism is to ride the storm and keep smiling. I hope your wait will not be too long. I think the waiting times vary between health trusts. Take care 😊
