Seven days post op.....

Well where has that week gone,i know i don't know. I am progressing slowly and i am doing the daily walks round my close of 12 houses so the walk is not very long, just enough to get me moving. I have had some down moments since surgery, but with a nap i have perked up. The pain is completely different not like it was before the surgery. The pain from before the op has gone and normal feeling has resumed in my legs which is nice. The exhaustion is still there and the tiredness which is because of RA/Fibro and i will have to live with that. The scar looks very clean and tidy and the clips come out on Monday which will be ten days.

Wishing you all a pain free day.xxxx

It sounds like things are progressing nicely . Keep the pace steady and don't rush things.

Thank you everyone for your lovely words. I am now in the danger zone whereby i am starting feeling better and want to do things and i know i mustn't do anything yet. I will keep the walking up round my close to keep my back mobile.xxxxxxx

I'm glad you realize you are in the danger zone...I know it's hard but PLEASE take it easy. Let your body fully heal before you attempt to water ski with me.

Now that i am looking forward to Sue with pleasure,i will need to get a passport first though.lol.

How are you feeling my friend.xxxxx

in reply to sylvi

Yeah, I need to renew mine too, as mine expired a few years ago. lol...but you are always welcome to visit, but let's try next year. The people of British Columbia are spending thier days doing native "rain dances". We need rain, as BC is burning. I actually have thick ash on my car. I hate to think about my lungs!!

Have you ever been to Canada?

sylvi profile image
sylvi in reply to

No i haven't i have a friend live there who used to live next door to us when we were in married quarters in London and after her hubby died she went back and she came over once when her daughter was over here on some sort of course and she came to ours.xxxxxx

in reply to sylvi

The reason I asked was because it is common for Europeans who immigrate to North America to say "everything is sooo far away" . I guess they say this because in Canada or the USA, you can drive 24/7 and still be in the same country with the same culture. lol

Gander, Newfoundland, Canada than me. lol.... Oh and it take 8 hours to reach Prince George which is located in the middle of BC. :)
