Hello, I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for 15 years now. I am 30 now and got it at the age of 15. It has been a roller coaster ride. It has disrupted so much for me, but it has also made me stronger.

I am in the process of changing my career. I was a dentist (probably the worst profession for someone with RA). I thought I could do it, that I wouldn't let my disease stop me from doing what I want. But it did. I am moving into healthcare analytics. It is a tough road ahead, and I'm looking for some support.

There are lots of well informed compassionate folk here, always willing to listen. Lots of humour too!

Having said this, 15 years, you may be able to offer us a lot.

Well done having the courage to continue to push yourself in what can be a daily battle .

Hello! Like you I was diagnosed as a teen at 14. Now 22 years later I'm still going 😂. I've had both my hips replaced and cataracts as well. I only found HealthUnlocked last year but there are some great people on here. I hope your change in career goes well! 😁
