Back pain
I have a compact disc and i am waiting for surgery on it.xxxx
I used to get alot of pain in my thoracic spine and also my lumbar spine although the thoracic pain was definitely the worst. I remember someone describing it like broken glass across your back, and thinking that describes the pain perfectly. I totally empathise with you, it's so debilitating. I'm on a biosimilar now and much better than I was although still have some discomfort.
I've got osteoarthritis in my neck, back and hip. Was only diagnosed through x-ray and scans. Lots of pain killers help! xo
An idea only - check your vitamin D and B12 levels.
Low or deficient Vitamin D blood levels can be connected to lower back and low or deficient vitamin B12 can be linked to osteoporosis.
Thank you. I will get it checked.
This Book is a must have for every family - reading it shocked me how many patients were being over looked for all sorts of illnesses linked to Low or Deficient vitamin B12.
Could it be B12 ? - An Epidemic of misdiagnosis, by Sally Pacholok.
There are many 'spinal' mentions in the index finder at the back of the book, (linked to B12 Def) which leads you straight to the book's page number needed. If I had anything 'spinal' going on from head to toe after reading this book I would be checking my B12 blood levels,
Low or Deficient B12 is so unbelievably over looked and can be the cause of many other illnesses/complaints which are rarely considered. Some of the Prescribed Medications, Chemo and Radiation can deplete our B12 levels without us realizing.
Warning - DO NOT SUPPLEMENT with vitamin B12 until bloods have been checked. as it will mess up blood results.
