Endone is a brand name in Australia for oxycodone, a Schedule 1 drug (here in the UK a Class A drug) & strong opioid pain relief, a controlled drug. Your rehab team will be giving it you before start your exercises because they consider it will be painful for you without doing so.

You are a wealth of knowledge nomoreheels. I didn't respond to Rocky because I had never heard of Endone.

Yes, Rocky, I have had this drug given to me from my doctor when I was in severe pain. In Canada, it has another name. Within 10 minutes or so, the pain just "went away" . This drug is well controlled by all health authorities because it is highly addicted. I only had 2 doses and although I wasn't addicted to it yet, I wanted more to relieve my pain.

Oxycodone (Endone) is considered a miracle pain reliever and should only be used under a doctor's (rehab) care.

Sending you my love and healing thoughts

Sue
