So sorry you're feeling so low. I know how you feel, but unfortunately I have no support network. Hope you get home soon to your loving family. I think the emotional roller coaster is part of the disease and there's not too much we can do about it. I am up and down so much, I'm sure people what drugs I'm taking! My emotions are a mystery to me, I can be out shopping when suddenly I feel as though I'm going to burst out crying and have to rush home. Try and be strong until you are fit enough to go home. xo ☺

Some of the emotions could be med related and maybe a good old fashion blubber would help -it could release some of the stress!

Sorry that you're struggling but the bottom line is if you want the best from the new knee then the focus must be rehab realated else this will all be for precious little gain. Can you Skype family?

Try to stay positive and strong.

All the best

This is in reaction to a very big mix of things which we do not normally have to content with day to day - extra drugs, surgery, lack of sleep, frustration at the system and not being able to see family. It will pass and you will come out the other side stronger. I get very stroppy and 'pmt' like in these types of situations. Concentrate on getting the knee moving. ((())) Stay strong. xx Farm

Going to echo what Farm posted. Focus the rest of your energy on getting better as quickly as possible and getting home Rocky.

How long are you expected to be there?

I know after having both knees replaced together, I was in for four days then home.

Stay strong

I really feel for you; that's tough going. However, I really would urge you to stick with it Rocky.

If doing the physio diligently, you will notice improvements day by day .

You're in my prayers

Rocky........get your head down & get your knee strong again!

The time will pass much more quickly if you concentrate on getting walking well enough to go home!

You don't want to end up in a wheelchair with your sister pushing you around do you?

I'm a lot older than you & I live alone, so I had a right old time, both when I was on crutches after foot surgery,& recently when I fell & broke my arm.

In UK(at least in my area) the days of rehab....except after a stroke...are long gone....we just have to cope the best we can! NHS cuts & all that!

I'm sure your sister is missing you too, So bite the bullet & tell your physio to do her best to get you running ASAP

Good Luck...hope you get home very soon!

Keep your chin up. You'll be home before you know it, as long as you are diligent in your rehab. We're all rooting for you! x
