Off to see another spine specialist tomorrow

Well tummy virus has nearly gone now so all should be fine for tomorrow. I am seeing another spine specialist tomorrow He will be the 6th specialist so let's see if he can get me out off pain🤔🤔🤔 we have been thinking about going too America so if anyone has had treatment for there spine in America it would be lovely to hear about your experience. I have gone back the way now it's very hard for me to stand on my legs anymore because of the severe pain. Once I've had my shower in the morning I am nearly finished for the day. Really don't want to live my life like this anymore. I truly feel for all of you Who suffer so much pain and how we have to adapt our lives to our illnesses. I truly wish everyone as well as they can be and my heart goes out to all of you who are really not feeling very well at the moment. ❤️❤️❤️ We are all here for one another no matter what my friends. Jan darling your so not alone,i suffer so much with my back. I am waiting for a operation on my back sometime in August and i worry how i will cope until then as i am suffering terribly at the moment. Hugs to you darling from a fellow sufferer.xxxxx

Ah Sylvi thank you so much love. We both know how deliberating our backs can be. It completely take away most off your life. If they have the true cause to your back problems then I am sure that after recovery you will be ok. With me I have now had several attempts to take or even reduce the pain but it keeps coming back. I was thinking about going to America but first I will see a few more surgeon here as it's a real lot of money to go there. I know money is no good to you if you don't have your health. I will let you know how I get on today if not in to much pain when I get home. What do they say is wrong with your back if you don't mind me asking? Take good care of yourself my friend. First off i have worn discs and joint in the lower back from years ago,then i now have a compressed disc in that part as well and the op i am going to have is where the shave some of the bone so the nerves are not squashed as much hopefully giving me some relief. He has said it won't get rid of all the pain and my reply to him was,but it will settle down after time it always has in the past when i have had a flare up of it. That is what i am hoping anyway as i don't know how i will cope if i am in pain from that as well as the RA/Fibro.

I am trying to keep going and do things to the best of my ability even if it is only a little tiny bit,i have got to keep doing things or i think i will end up in bed not moving at all.xxxxxxx

Dear Jan101 I am so sorry to hear of your horrendous back pain. I can understand the horror of back pain & I am so sorry that after so many specialist that they have not been able to explain some reason for your pain. Have you had an MRI of your whole back & neck? I understand how heavy & involved the legs can become & I so hope that you will hear something of purpose from this next specialist. I am assuming that they are all consultants of orthopaedics. Just one wee thought ... have you been checked for B12 deficiency? Dear Sylvi I am also thinking of you & hoping that you will have a great lift after your orthopaedic surgery.

Hi pixiewixie thank you for your very concerning reply. I have only had back MRI scans done, never my neck. I am on vitamin D3. I am going to keep going with them to get to the bottom of this as there has to be a reason for this pain. It literally just came one day with a bang and has never left me. I was supposed too see a specialist yesterday but I was to ill with diverticulitis so had to cancel. I am having to pay for this now out of my own pocket as the other specialist said there is no more they can do. But there is something causing this pain. I had 4 fractures and they put cement into them and they are ok now. So that part is good. Then I had a lot off nerves burnt in my spine and quarter zone injection also. So had a lot done to see what could help me. But unfortunately still in this pain. 😢

I also would like to send Sylvi my heart felt wishes that all goes well for her too.
