Rituxan Question

Hi, I'm new to this site but I'm curious. I'm aware of the side effects of Rituxan, however I had it 5 days ago, everything fine, then this morning I woke with such a bad headache that won't stop. Is it possible that it's from the Rituxan so many days later?

Hi, it very well could be! Was it your first or second infusion, I know I usually feel out of sorts for a couple of weeks after...it's pretty strong stuff. Have you got a helpline or doctor you could contact if you're concerned they will be best to advise you to be honest. Hope it improves for you and that you eventually get a good result from the Rituximab. 😊

I have only just started on Rituximab I had the first infusion nearly two weeks ago the second part is this Tuesday. I have had a headache for the first 4/5 days. I felt really washed out for a few days too. As 3littlebirds2 has said it's pretty strong stuff and we all react in different ways to the meds we are taking. I had a strong reaction during the first infusion resulting it taking twice as long to infuse!
