Hi

Random question but does anyone get itchy flare ups? wherever I get a bad flare up it's just really itchy in the area that's flared up. Not sure if it's the RA or just me going mad lol

Thank you, Thank god I'm not going mad. Had it now and then but got flare up in my feet and it is itching like hell. Just took an antihistamine so hopefully wears off. If carries on I won't have no skin left :( lol where's the sandpaper! Lol

I know it's a horrible feeling isn't it ? I've had it on my ankles and wrists. All thanks to wonderful RA ! Have you tried putting an ice pack on ? It did help a bit when I tried it.

Hope it settles down soon for you

Hi I have read that contrary to previous thinking, gout can occur in RA patients. But while gout usually occurs on the big toe, in RA people any joint can have more of uric acid. This was found by a German researcher, Petsch.

Hi, i have this problem when i take cabbage, cauliflower, peanuts, spinach. So i have eliminated these from my diet. Now for the past one year, i have no itching, even if i get a flare, when i veer away from my diet. I get a flare when i take sweets. But these 4 i have completely eliminated as whenever i reintroduce any one, i get itching that day itself.

Hope this helps.
